Profile:
Dr. Husain Parvez received his Bachelors of Engineering in Computer Science from National University of Sciences and Technology, Rawalpindi. He received MS and PhD in Electronics and Computer Science from University Pierre & Marie Curie (Paris-6), Paris. Before doing MS and PhD, he worked at the System-on-Chip tools department at Communications Enabling Technologies Islamabad, and at Video Decoder & Optimization department at Streaming Networks Islamabad. He has taught at University Pierre & Marie Curie, Paris, Habib University and IQRA University, Karachi. He is associated with KIET since 2012. His current research interests include design and exploration of FPGA architectures and related CAD tools for FPGAs. Dr. Parvez was the co-principal investigator of four major funded projects, totaling worth 48 million PKR. He has authored and coauthored 10 publications in high impact journals, and 15 papers in international conferences. He has also authored a book titled “Application-Specific Mesh-based Heterogeneous FPGA Architectures” published by Springer

Engr. Dr. Noman Hassany

Profile:
Dr. Noman Hasany has more than 25 years of research experience and university level teaching experience in undergraduate and graduate programs both nationally and internationally. He worked as an Assistant Professor and Head of Computer Science Department at DHA Suffa University. He also served as Chairman Computer Science Department at Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi, Pakistan. He did his PhD in Computer Systems Engineering from University Putra Malaysia; M.E. and B.E. also in Computer Systems Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi. He has an international working experience of seven years as an Assistant Professor in the Computer science Department of Qassim University, Saudi Arabia. His research interests include Semantic Web, Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, Digital transformation, E-learning and Knowledge based system.

Engr. Farhan Ghafoor

Profile:
Engr. Farhan completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Computer System from Usman Institute of Technology affiliated with NED University, Karachi (Pakistan) in 2005. In 2012, he completed Master of Engineering in Telecommunication & Computer Networks from UIT, Karachi (Pakistan). After completion of his B.E, he joined Pakistan Navy as Lecturer and posted in Information Warfare School at PNS Bahadur for providing training in the field of Information warfare, Information Operations and C2 warfare. In 2008, he was a part of PN School of Information Technology for teaching the subjects of Network Security, Computer Programming, Cyber Security, Analog, Digital Communication and Data Communication. In 2012, he was transferred to PN Balanced Scorecard Institute as Staff Officer (Automation and Databases) and promoted to Assistant Professor.
In 2015, he was transferred to PN Communication School to teach the subjects of Telecommunication. During this period he was also performed in different Staff duties (Training Coordination Officer, O I/C Exam, Computer Programmer, Senior Computer Programmer, Network Administrator and IT Manager. Subsequently, he retired on 30 April 2022. Presently, he is working as an Assistant Professor in
College of Engineering, KIET at Karachi, Pakistan. He is responsible for carrying out teaching and research duties. He is involved in undergraduate courses as well as responsible for organizing lectures, seminars and tutorials. His research interests include application of artificial intelligence and Machine Learning, Automation Engineering, Robust Computer Networks and Network Security.

Mr. Maqsood Iqbal has more than 4 years of industry experience along with more than 2 years of experience in teaching. He served as Jury members in multiple Incubation Ideas Pitching. He conducted multiple workshops related to Software Testing in Bahria University. He conducted teacher training, Jury for FYP in Bahria University and KIET university. He is also working as a visiting faculty in Bahria University. He has worked as Software Test Automation Engineer in Multinet, Bank Al Habib, Danat (Argaam), 360 Factors. He recently joined KIET as Lecturer.
