Profile:
Dr. Muhammad Saleheen Aftab has received a PhD in Automatic Control and Systems Engineering from The University of Sheffield, UK in 2022 where he developed improved, cost-effective, and computationally efficient model based predictive controllers to cater for a variety of industrial process control applications. Previously, he completed BE (Electronics) from NED University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi in 2009 before moving abroad to Sultan Qaboos University, Oman in 2013 for pursuing MSc in Electronic Instrumentation & Control Systems. He possesses nearly 10 years of experience in academia, including both national and international universities, where while attaining higher education, he actively participated in undergraduate teaching, and research activities. To date, he has published numerous articles in prestigious international conferences as well as reputed scientific journals.

Research Interest:
Model-based Predictive Control, Intelligent Control Systems, Robotics System Design.

Profile:
Dr Muzzaffar Mahmood has over 30 years experience in academics and industry.
He retired as a Pro-Vice Chancellor and Professor from NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi. During his service, besides teaching and research he was responsible for the developmental work at the University, especially establishing new departments, notably Textile, Biomedical and Marine. He has supervised four PhD projects and has over 18 research publications.

Research Interest:
Applied Energy, Power Plants and Applied Statistics.

Engr. Nauman Memon

Profile:
Mr. Nauman Memon is an experienced professional with a diverse background in industry and academia. He has spent 2 years working in industry and 5 years in various academic roles at private and public sector universities. During his 4-year tenure as a lecturer at the Department of Electronic Engineering at Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, he gained valuable teaching experience.
He also worked as a research assistant at the Power Research Laboratory NUST PNEC, where he contributed to various research projects. Mr. Nauman is a published author of both national and international research articles, demonstrating his knowledge and expertise in his field.

Research Interest:
Neuro electronic, Prognosis of Neurological disorders, FPGA based system design, Embedded systems design, Machine learning, Modelling & design of Control Systems.

Engr. Hafiz Muhammad Tehreem

Profile:
Mr. Muhammad Tehreem is currently working as a Lecturer in the College of Engineering (CoE). He received his B.E. and M.S. Electronics degrees from KIET and is currently enrolled in Masters (Data Science) at NUCES-FAST. Mr. Tehreem has professional experience in the manufacturing and production sector. He has successfully completed the project of 3 DoF robotic arm for Robotics Lab. Furthermore, he has hands on experience in CNC machining and CAD designin.

Research Interest:
Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Mobile Robot.

Engr. Kanza Fatima

Profile:
Engr. Kanza is currently working as a Lecturer in the College of Engineering. She received her BE (Electrical) from DHA Suffa University in 2017 and MS (Electrical Control) from PNEC NUST in 2022. Ms. Kanza has almost 6-year experience in Research and Development and Teaching. Her main area of interest is image and signal processing.

Research Interest:
Controls, Signal and Image Processing.

Khalil

Profile: Mr. Khalil Ur Rehman has received his B.E. (Mechanical Engineering) degree from NEDUET and M.E. (Energy Systems) degree from NEDUET, Karachi. His MS thesis was mainly based on numerical study of flow over a dimpled plate. He has more than one year university teaching experience and have expertise in curriculum designing. He is working as a lecturer at KIET and teaching Mechanical Engineering related subjects.  
Research Interest: numerical study.

Profile: Mr. Muhammad Abdullah is currently working as a Lecturer in the Mechatronics Department of College of Engineering (CoE). He received his B.E (Mechanical) degree from DHA SUFFA University and M.E.M (Energy & Plant Management) degrees from NEDUET. Mr.Abdullah has professional experience in the manufacturing (Automobile) sector. He has successfully completed 4 industrial projects which are Suzuki-Alto, Suzuki-Swift, Honda-BRV & Toyota-Corolla-Cross. Furthermore, he has completed two international certifications (ERP-IFS & ISO 9001:2015 Lead Implementation).

Research Interest:
Quality Management System Autonomous Vehicle Engineering.

Ashraf Ali

Engr. Syed Ashraf Ali Rizvi

Profile: Syed Ashraf Ali Rizvi is a Mechanical Engineer with a Bachelor’s degree from Mehran University Jamshoro and two years of industry experience in the oil and gas sector. He later earned a Master of Engineering Management (MEM) in Energy and Plant Management from NEDUET Karachi. His postgraduate research on analyzing the impact of different quenching media on the mechanical properties and microstructural evolution of steel. Currently a lecturer at the Karachi Institute of Economics and Technology (KIET). Mr. Rizvi combines his industry experience and academic knowledge to provide students with practical and insightful mechanical engineering education.

Renewable Energy, Management and Process Optimization.

Engr. Ayesha Mahnoor

Profile:
Engr. Ayesha Mahnoor is currently working as Lab Engineer in the College of Engineering. She received her Bechlor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering from KIET. She is a dedicated individual with interest and expertise in AI and Bio-Robotics. Her projects include Animal Gait Robots and mobile robots. She has won 10+ robotics competition across Pakistan.
